Job Sharing

Job sharing is characterised by a work position being occupied by several employees at once, whereby the apportionment of the working hours is left to the employees.

The following peculiarities exist:

  • The employees are in a group relationship to the employer.
  • Each employee works necessarily part time as required.
  • The entitlement of an employer to give instructions is restricted timewise as the employees apportion the working hours among themselves.
